Project management including building estimates, tender packages, schedules, and budgets; oversee procurement and administer sub-contracts; coordinate technical scope of EPC projects; develop Quality Assurance programs; and oversee construction of T&D projects. Projects include: City of Lethbridge MacDonald Substation 25 kV switchgear replacement and new building, Coalbank Substation P&C Upgrade, and 824L Line Upgrade as well as Enbridge Sunken Lake Substation Transformer Replacement.

Quantity surveying, costing, bid evaluation, change order evaluation and execution, contract management, access management, coordination of work activities, scheduling and supervision of multiple contractors. Coordination of contractor lockouts (GOIs) and work permits. Construction work package authoring. Ensuring compliance with specifications and IFC packages. Management of on-site quality personnel and supervision of SNC-Lavalin field staff. Liaison with client (Altalink). Projects include: Medicine Hat 138 kV Reinforcement and Altalink Spacer Damper Replacement.

Advise SNC representatives and contractors on the interpretation of drawings and specifications on transmission line and substation projects. Provide timely on-site engineering solutions. Ensure design and construction is to governing standards. Manage request for information (RFI) process. Material quality oversight. Construction work package authoring. Change order evaluations, quantity surveying, and contract management. Liaison with client (Altalink).Projects include: Fidler, Cassils-Bowmanton, Bowmanton-Whitla, and Foothills Area Transmission Development.

Calgary, Canada Area

Design 240 kV and 500 kV transmission lines. This included layout of lines, design of hardware, material selection and order, design package development, production of construction scopes of work and bid packages, and tender evaluation. Liaison with and design work delegation to other SNC-Lavalin offices and staff. Projects include: Heartland and Western Alberta Transmission Line.

Coordinate technical aspects of projects including: concept planning, scheduling, budgeting, preparing requests for proposals, awarding contracts, acting as liaison between design engineers and contractors, overseeing construction, project commissioning and implementing safety programs for mill personal and contractors. Duties also included construction trade supervision, and project management. Projects include: Filtrate Tank, Acid/Caustic Injection, Bark Bin, Bark Magnet, Substation Construction, Heat Exchanger Rebuild/Commissioning, Main Chemical Sewer Repairs, and Mill Raw Water Chlorination.

Assisted in the coordination of logistics (materials) for the Point Lepreau Generation Station Refurbishment Project. Developed decontamination plans and radiated material removal plans. Worked in the Planning Group developing the Schedule Duration Assessment Plan.
