In my role at SECURE, I manage a team of technical drilling fluid experts in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. SECURE's technical team provides innovative solutions for our customers, researches and develops new products. Using my field experience, I provide technical expertise and troubleshoot challenges in the field to help our customers achieve operational success. Communicating new product applications and new business opportunities with the executive team is also part of my role. Working in line with SECURE's vision, I support our team in providing excellent customer service and innovative solutions.

As President of XL Fluid Systems, I managed day to day operations and sales for the company. Overseeing and organizing drilling fluid field representatives, drilling fluid products and logistics across Canada and the United States as well as implementing operational processes to manage data and inventory were among my responsibilities. Developing and fostering excellent customer and vendor relationships was paramount to the success of XL Fluids. Innovation was the backbone to XL Fluids - researching and developing new products to help our customers achieve their operational goals was our goal. In addition, as President of XL Fluids I oversaw all forecasting, managing and reviewing of all budgets and financial information.

Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin

Work with and train drilling fluid field personnel to ensure that operational objectives were met and exceeded at the well site. Being an effective Drilling Fluid Engineer required detailed paper work, tracking drilling fluid product inventory, safety reporting and a thorough understanding of drilling fluid products and systems. This role required hands on and quick thinking to optimizing the drilling fluids for continuous improvement onsite.
