Manage sales support, partner relations and Marketing of Softmart’s Global Business Div.RESPONSIBILITIES:• Day-to-day support of Global Division customers: quotations, purchase orders, product inquiries• Manage the global resources on internal shared portal.• Develop global partner relationships through phone and email communication• Organize and Manage global customer records • Assist in developing internal processes to support Global Business• Present Softmart’s Global Solution to customers and Softmart account managers• Explore Softmart’s account base for global opportunities• Facilitate introductions of Softmart Account Managers and Partner Account Managers• Educate Softmart personnel and new hires on the processes and procedures of our Global Solution• Build mind-share within the Softmart Sales Organization around the value that Softmart’s Global Solution can bring to their accounts• Continually assess and propose enhancements to Softmart’s Global Solution and the way we go to market internally with the Sales Organization and externally with Customers and Prospects• Prospecting new business opportunities• Mentor other Global Sales Specialists in departmental procedures and practices• Maintain Microsoft licensing knowledge and selling capabilities Domestically and Globally

•Manage international customer orders from placement to invoicing through multiple channels, including phone, Fax, VMI, E-Mail, and websites. Ensure export customer satisfaction by routinely communicating order status details to customers (internal and external) using Export status reports•Work with Demand Management to satisfy customers required delivery dates through coordinating the efforts of marketing, manufacturing, logistics and freight forwarders (air/ocean), steamship lines, foreign suppliers and foreign in-bond warehouse.•Support the business by helping to attain business goals and ensure effective execution of marketplace strategy.•Enact all ISO procedures to provide consistent high quality service to customers.•Obtain export customer specific requirements for developing and maintaining the master customer records. (Consignee & Notify Parties, Customer Required messages, Marks & Number, customer specifications, equipment requirements, etc.)•Work closely with international freight forwarder to ensure the export and import are booked, picked up/shipped, and delivered on time.•Clearly understand INCOTERM and regulations in export and import process.•Audit both import and export files in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory compliance.•Update outbound and inbound delivery with accurate shipment weights and shipment information with booking information (vessel name, container number, ETA US port) based on data received from freight forwarder or supplier.•Maintain valid information system for purchase orders (clean up of old or cancelled orders, updating status, review stock in-transit inventory, etc.)•Ensure that goods receipt of PO is done in a timely manner, and contact warehouses/supply chain or customers, as needed.•Compile and distribute official documents necessary to transport and clear materials through U.S. Customs and border crossings.
