As the Chief Nursing Officer at Maple Heights Behavioral Health, I am responsible for overseeing the clinical operations and quality of care of the facility, which offers inpatient and outpatient mental health services for adults and adolescents. I have more than 10 years of experience in health care operations, including leading the behavioral health access center at Parkview Health, a regional network of hospitals and clinics.I have a Master of Psychology in Organizational Development and Leadership from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and I am certified in CPR, QPR, and ASIST. My mission is to improve patient advocacy and satisfaction for behavioral health care, and to collaborate with community partners and stakeholders on suicide prevention and early childhood trauma initiatives. I have experience in developing and implementing algorithms for providing safe and quality care during the Covid pandemic, and creating a virtual walk-in clinic for acute care services. I am skilled in crisis intervention, assessment, referral, and admission of patients in need of mental health care, as well as conflict resolution, team building, and staff development.
