As an Animal Care Specialist and Primate Trainer, my overall mission is to connect people to animals and inspire them to care, conserve, and protect the natural world. I am dedicated to providing outstanding animal care and training utilizing operant conditioning and positive reinforcement techniques. I also have a strong interest in developing and implementing species specific enrichment that encourage natural behaviors. I always am looking to network and learn new things that could benefit my animals and conservation. I am so fortunate that I get to work with the primates at ZooTampa. I love my job and this field!
