Managed events up to 600 guests from set up to breakdown in a tri-level event space that was booked 4-6 times a week averaging 7 million annually in revenue. Managed over 400 weddings.Venue also catered to corporate events and private member events. Responsibilities included managing and training server/ bar staff, executing BEO’s in their entirety, accommodating last minute changes per the host or client’s request, communicating with the executive chef regarding timing and firing of food as well as the entire banquet team, comprising bar inventory and set up for each event. Organizing and managing outside vendors. Costing schedules and creating P&L’s. Scheduling staff of 40, weekly inventory ordering(bar, wine & produce), closing out payroll. Touring and selling the venue to prospective clients to secure bookings.

Beverly Hills, Ca

Fielding daily special events inquiries and securing bookings for small private events up to full restaurant buyouts. Developing and maintaining relationships with the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, hotel concierges and neighborhood businesses to contribute to and build special event sales. Working with Executive Chef in design of all menus within guests prescribed budget as well as coordinating with third party sources to fulfill guests' needs. Overseeing all staff during events and maintaining a presence throughout the event. I also produced a professional styled photo shoot of the space, utilized in the design and creation of a special events packet used as take away material or website content.

Westwood, Ca

Developed and initiated the special events department at this restaurant. Created the special events contract, packet, BEO, and worked with the Executive Chef in creating several different custom menu options within a prescribed budget without compromising quality as well as working with the bar manager to create several alcohol and beverage packages. Secured bookings, planned, coordinated, produced and executed corporate functions and special events including movie premier after parties. Guided and worked with client from beginning to end of the planning process. Organized and managed outside vendors. Developed and maintained relationships with UCLA staff/ program directors, neighborhood businesses and hotels which brought in repeat special events business.
