RN Residency Program: Medical-Surgical Track

Communicate with health care providers and transgender/non binary patients to coordinate care; such as referrals for surgery, insurance requirements, legal navigation, social supports, and transfer of care. Maintain and expand LGBTQ resource and referral lists, collate community resources, build regional referral network, and maintain up-to-date materials related to LGBTQ services, care, and needs throughout our service area.

Create and implement effective programs on sexual health and relationships.Interact and network with a diverse set of community and college organizations. Coordinator of LGBTQ youth group and social events.

Greet guests and provide support. Responsible for bill, order, and record keeping. Assist in event planning and set-up.

Design and assist with programs, advertisements, and publications.Volunteer with LGBTQ youth group. Organize and file education staff records and materials.

Assist in media and logistics planning for events. Support faculty and students through course preparation and meetings. Create a welcoming space by keeping it organized and providing friendly service.
