I’m a Houston native, graduating from the University of Dallas in 2020 with a B.S. in Biology and completing my Masters in Marine Resource Management at A&M Galveston in May 2022. During my educational career I discovered a passion for environmental and civil problems, where I enjoyed delving into the details and root causes behind the changes our world is experiencing today. The experience I've had working as a research assistant at the Institute for a Disaster Resilient Texas has given me a glimpse into the complex and fascinating world of resilience and mitigation, and helped me to discover how we can continue to exist as a productive society while protecting our valuable resources.Post graduation I have been fortunate enough to work with extraordinary companies that have encouraged me to continue to excel in what I love. However, I am eager to continue on my professional journey and hone my skills to be the most beneficial I can to my company.I've learned that my particular interests and skills lie in a plethora of different topics including: wetland delineation and iHGM values, permit writing, data analysis, mitigation banking, understanding NEPA and the Clean Water Act, and fieldwork implementation and organization. I look forward to where my career path will take me, and I am certain that wherever I go I will give my all to dedicate myself and my passion to my job.
