While working for IES communications I was on a crew setting up server consoles and maintenanced the pre-hook up for the servers at Facebook.

• My job as a 25U I Supervise, installs, employs, maintains, troubleshoots and assists users with battlefield signal support systems, terminal devices, satellite communications equipment and automated telecommunications computer systems, to include local area networks, wide area networks and routers. Integrates signal systems and networks; performs unit level maintenance on authorized signal equipment and associated electronic devices; trains and provides technical assistance to users of signal equipment; and operates and performs preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on assigned vehicles and power generators. • Cross trained as a 25B to Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.• I did receive a medal from our Brigade General for my work on an outpost while serving in South Korea.
