In first grade I fell head over heels in love with reading, an obsession that has stuck with me my whole life. My teacher – Mrs. B – who taught me to love reading became an instant inspiration for a lifelong goal of becoming a teacher and having that same ability to impact and inspire others. From age six all the way through my sophomore year of college that was the life goal – become a teacher, run a classroom, inspire others, change lives!Well, I didn’t end up becoming a teacher! Like so many my life took detours as I found new inspirations and options my six-year-old self didn’t know existed. I did end up becoming an educator at my core though and finding joy in facilitating learning outside of the classroom. Our lives and jobs provide many opportunities for growth and development, and I find my purpose helping others capitalize on those openings. Education is my profession, no matter what my job title is!In my job I thrive when working with teams and other incredible professionals who are pursuing excellence and growth. I believe that every individual in a job deserves the chance to be successful and to have someone in their corner rooting for them – that’s me! Our jobs and teams are better when we center and value the humanity in our peers and employees and we can do that through positive growth and development.I’ve also grown in my life from a middle-schooler getting detention for a poorly organized locker to a wicked good project manager. I excel in breaking larger processes and projects into tiny parts and bending timelines to my will. All jobs can benefit from some overlaying structure, and I can bring that to your team. Whether it’s learning about Inbox Zero, Asana, or just some good old-fashioned color-coded lists I’m your girl for time and project organization!I’m an unapologetic nerd who can talk all day about:- Learning and Development- Curriculum- Learning Outcomes and Goals- Project Management- Time Management- Team Development and Management- Onboarding- Employee Morale
