Lone Star College-Kingwood

Charged with the responsibility of selecting, building, and leading a team of over 70 Faculty and administrators in providing Continuing Education and Workforce courses and programs to the Community. Key accomplishments include:• Managed Continuing Education offices at both Kingwood and North Harris in 2012, in addition to interim dean for the Lone Star College system.• Led the Continuing Education team at Kingwood Campus through a major reorganization, restructuring and ERP Conversion. Increased enrollments and revenue by 140% - primarily in healthcare and teacher certification programs. Successfully built a faculty of high recognition and value to the community during a period of budget restraint and staff attrition.• Served as key community representative to Chambers of Commerce and other community organizations resulting in nomination and selection to numerous local boards. • Monitored and maintained all expenses to insure revenue achieved resulted in a self-sustaining budget for Department of Continuing Education. Actively collaborated with faculty in staff in preparing, developing, submitting and maintaining budget while insuring increased enrollment and revenue opportunities and academic excellence.• Served as key representative to the community for Kingwood’s continuing education programs, promoted College to corporate and general community resulting in increased enrollment, improved community recognition and development of partnerships with community, corporate and civic organizations.
