To promote the sport and culture of rugby within Oakland University, Macomb County, and Oakland County by hosting events on campus, participating in philanthropic causes, getting involved with local youth, high school, men’s, and women’s rugby clubs, and by encouraging all players to act with integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect on and off the pitch. Club TreasurerAssists club president in preparing an annual budget and one three year forecast. Must be fully developed by March of the active year. Presented and voted on by club officers only.Saves invoices.Records and saves all expenses and revenues into a spreadsheet with totals and recorded profit/loss.Has a record of previous seasons as well.Brings an updated spreadsheet of budget and recorded finances to each meeting. Pays for socials and other organized transactions with the President.Collects seasonal dues.Records those who have paid. Creates a roster of everyone who has paid in coordination with the secretary.Informs captains and coach of who is eligible to play based on who has paid.Maintains detailed records of all financial activities and transactions.Records detailed record of all expenses in creating budget for the club.Submit through IMLeagues annotated monthly statements from off-campus account to Club Sports office and to other officers.Tracks bank statements online making sure it is consistent with the season financial plan.Attend Officer Training once a year in September, be an Oakland University student and be a member of the “Club Sports Advisory Council” on Grizzorgs.Decision maker in agreement with the captain(s) and secretary if both vice-president and president are absent.
