Consultant
Winter Associate
Worked as full-time member of 4 person analysis team as during Winter of 2021. Responsible for daily and weekly Excel & PowerBI reports that guided worker deployment strategy and tracked organizational progress towards efficiency KPIs.AMI Group, LLC is the private company that manages, oversees, and operates the Chicagoland area parking meters, the second largest privately held portfolio of parking real estate in the country. Day to day responsibilities include analyzing ticketing agent performance over a variety of metrics, and using my knowledge of behavioral economics and Excel to help design design strategies to maximize citation counts and drive meter-level revenue. One recent project involved optimizing a process to recommend routes for enforcement agents based on hourly-level revenue data, in 100 distinct areas of Chicago. Another included forecasting revenue for each of the 4,000 parking meters to account for parking behavior changes in light of the Chicago COVID lockdown policies.
Program Associate
Advancing Healthcare Innovation in Africa (AHIA) is an accelerator program run out of Emory University that provides a lab-to-market strategy for entrepreneurs in the African health and biomedical sectors. My role as the Program Associate intern worked with the Program Associate to spearhead the ideation and execution of The Bio Innovation Resource Hub: a five-prong digital ecosystem to support healthcare entrepreneurship in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Working in a collaborative, remote, startup environment, I had many ad-hoc tasks to complete to keep the project on course, and maintain stakeholder engagement. I participated in daily standups with representatives from a South African nonprofit, a technological implementation partner, and a team of volunteer MBA students. Preparing for these meetings and working towards the goal of this social enterprise sharpened my project management skillset, strategic planning abilities, and confidence to create actionable paths for large teams under little supervision. My 8 weeks with the program culminated with the publication of a multi-week research project on how to effectively design and scale digital health ecosystems, which was distributed to major stakeholders for the project.
Consumer Banking Intern - Deposits Marketing
When interning as part of the Consumer Banking Leadership Program, I shadowed the marketing team in the deposits division of Discover's Bank. I developed 12 creative briefs that coveyed Discvoer's brand image to an external advertising agency, to ensure on-brand communication in each of the direct email, email, and web banner campaigns. I organized weekly meetings between the legal and marketing teams by setting and moderating topics for FDIC compliance review.Throughout the internship I conducted user experience research on the process in place to open a checking account. After identifying exactly where in the product flow users abandon their application, I provided analysis as to why this was occuring, and strategies for how the marketing team could deploy their spend budget to reduce application churn.
Bilingual Interviewer And Research Assistant
I interviewed specialty coffee stakeholders in El Salvador to record in-country perspectives on the Specialty Coffee Commodity Price Crisis for Dr. Roberts's research on the coffee supply chain. THis grant was funded in part by Yonsei University in Korea, and Emory University's Social Enterprise Center.I spent 6 weeks attending bi-weekly meetings to prepare culturally for 7-day trip; and spent 4 weeks upon our return analyzing data and synthesizing findings for Dr. Roberts' final report.
Community Engagement & Sales Intern For Grounds For Empowerment

GFE provides capcity buildign training including introductory financial planning, mentorship, and digital marketing tools to expand the market opprtunities for their cohort. In my outward-facing role, I maintained and developed local partnerships to support specialty coffee sales from Nicaraguan & Guatemalan farmers.Throughout the year, I held evening on-campus engagement campaigns through "Sip & Learn" presentations, where I brewed coffee from the farms of the women farmers, and spoke about coffee industry supply chainWhen the Nicaraguan farmers from the accelerator program visited Atlanta for the annual Community Forum, I planned and executed business seminars to support and expand their enterprises.
Research Analyst
Wellspring is an organization that supports Atlanta-based nonprofits by helping clients secure grants based on shared values and mission. As a part-time fall intern, I pitched potential grant makers to nonprofit clients by researching national non-profit databases.
