You'll always get the real me, the driven dreamer, the genuinely happy me, the one who always has the future in mind with the decisions of today. The one to say "I'll make it happen" "I know a guy..." "Hear me out..." I will always provide intentional work. When I lead a team, I'm intentional about it feeling like family - talking about the hard things is a strength of the teams I lead. This comes with establishing a vulnerable environment - we talk about it. We don't bottle our emotions. We're equals with different responsibilities. And when we establish the family culture, the success always follows. I enjoy staying busy and making the most out of each and every day. A typical day for me could start with the Trustees meeting in the morning, class in the afternoon, and finishing it off by smashing the drums in front of 3,500 students. I take pride in my ability to go from some of the most professional settings to creating a social experience for thousands of rowdy young-adults, while having a strong impact in both groups.I've experienced immense growth in myself through my work at TechieForLife as a mentor to college students who struggle with the side-effects of autism. I've learned how to be wrong, how to communicate effectively with difficult people, how to establish an "equals with different responsibilities" culture in the workplace, how to influence even the most rigid people, how to make connections myself and for others, how to put feelings first AND get the job done, how to speak up when changes need to be made...I'd love to tell you more - ask me about it!
