My name is Devonte Brown a medical material logistician in the United States Air Force. I have over five years of experience in procurement and am the lead procurement manager within my section. Within my section I oversee purchasing medical supplies and medical equipment. Within my section there are 4 different subsections. I am originally from Charlotte NC. Before joining the military, I worked for Mecklenburg County as a park and recreation specialist. I also work for Walmart as an operations manager from the time of January 2, 2016, to May 26, 2017.Currently I am a senior at Park university and my degree is in business administration with a concertation in human resources. I plan to finish my degree in the fall of 2024. Once my degree is completed my goal is to jump straight into my master’s program and apply for an MBA with the concentration in healthcare management.Outside of working on myself professionally I also have quite an extreme hobby. I am a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo as well as a black belt in kickboxing.
