As a nursing assistant in a large teaching hospital, I perform basic tests, such as EKGs, and blood glucose tests, and I take vital signs. I perform splinting, apply traction devices, and clean wounds. I am also involved in the logistical side of things: getting rooms ready for patients, moving patients, and stocking and cleaning areas in the emergency department to ensure smooth operation during emergencies.

I conduct hands-on experiments with Drosophila flies, investigating host-pathogen interactions. I manage fly colonies, design experiments, and analyze data to uncover critical insights into disease mechanisms.

I am involved in an ongoing pilot study with the New York University School of Medicine's department of epidemiology. I meticulously enter data into table shells, codify variables, and write scripts to run statistical analyses. I am responsible for organizing collected data and determining statistical significance at various alpha levels.

I tutor students in various math disciplines, as well as for the SAT. I am currently involved in redoing the curriculum for the Math for College Algebra course to hone in on my primary focus of helping students reach a concordant score to graduate high school, as well as helping some students achieve a high score for college and scholarship purposes. It has been an extremely rewarding experience to be an integral part of helping reduce the number of students at risk for not graduating from over 50 down to less than 10.

I worked in a retail grocery store, shopping online orders and delivering orders to customers.

I provide tutoring services for everyone in general, but particularly for students studying the mathematics and preparing for the SAT.
