I perform live music 8-20 times per month in local venues, bars, restaurants, and events. I also am the lead singer in a local cover band, Wag The Dog. I have recorded vocals for various artists and am currently pursuing releasing my own album.

After graduation from Eastern Michigan University, I decided to pursue my dreams of opening my own private lesson music studio. My studio has grown over time and now I currently teach 16-20 students weekly, ages 6-17. I plan and execute recitals for them two times a year. Since the pandemic I have continued to provide music instruction by transitioning to online education until circumstances are safer to teach in person again.

As the Music Director for Chelsea's Show choir for the 2020 season, I taught and rehearsed music to the members of the ensemble for their multiple performances. I provided students with a positive rehearsal environment by keeping the material engaging and relatable. I also assisted the directors with extra activities such as retreat and auditions.

As a private lesson instructor, i created unique lesson plans to meet the needs of each student. I taught over 12 students weekly from ages 4-17, and assisted in the planning and execution in two recitals each year.

This student administrative assistant position was at the Study Abroad Office at EMU. Here I conducted daily advising sessions with students interested in different programs offered, and created/reviewed spreadsheets that organized program applicants' information. I was a program manager for a tour, meaning that I assisted in the planning and execution of a two-week international choir tour of Europe. I left when I graduated EMU for other work.

During my student teaching, I worked with both elementary and high school level music students. I rehearsed and conducted multiple songs in each of the different high school ensembles, created engaging lesson plans for both elementary and high school groups, and assisted in the extracurricular choir, Company C.
