I love tackling a problem and applying the best ideas, components and techniques to resolve it. I am most passionate about the use of technology to make our lives easier, safer, and more productive. It doesn't matter whether the technology is old or new, or whether the solution requires integration of multiple, different technologies. From my early childhood and forward, I was fascinated by how science and technology were used to help people and organizations. When I first started writing computer programs, I was excited in seeing how I could make this inanimate box do things that were difficult or impossible for a person to accomplish. With the growth in the field, I saw how working in these technologies would never be boring or become rote in performance. ► SKILLS & LEADERSHIP VALUE:I am highly skilled at managing my time so that multitasking a large stable of concurrent projects with constantly shifting priorities becomes second nature. I subscribe to the belief that better leaders create better environments and better leaders surround themselves with highly motivated and capable people and ensure their organizations have the best chance at excellence. I strive to find the 'hidden” strengths that people have and guide them toward taking the responsibilities that make the most of their talents and give them the best chance for success. My managers and peers see me as both a good teammate and a supportive manager. I am extremely adept at learning new things and applying that acquired knowledge in effective ways. I adapt my management and working style to fit those I interact with.
