Christopher DeWitt attends the University of Texas at Arlington in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, and is employed there as a Lab Assistant. His completed courses include Algorithms and Data Structures, Embedded Systems, and Digital Logic Design. His academic projects include the design of an 8-bit TRISC CPU in Verilog and a haptic walking aid capable of sensing nearby stairs, drop-offs, and other potential obstacles. Chris is interested in Embedded Systems Programming.The disruptions in the U.S. economy from 2020-2021 prompted Chris to attend UTA in order to facilitate a career change away from Aviation Maintenance. Within that career field, he was employed at Dallas Airmotive for three years, where he repaired and overhauled Pratt and Whitney Canada PW200-series turboshaft engines. Prior to that, he was enlisted in the U.S. Army as an Aircraft Powerplant Mechanic (MOS 15B).
