As part of my final-year diploma project, my team and I pursued a startup business idea to address challenges faced by handcart vendors in Ahmedabad.Market Research: Surveyed 5,000 vendors and discovered that many suffered from repetitive strain injuries due to long hours pushing handcarts and the difficulty of turning them.Solution: Developed a handcart with a four-bar chain steering mechanism to improve maneuverability, proposed to local manufacturers.Additionally, we identified poor hygiene practices among food vendors, which posed public health risks.Innovation: Designed an integrated stove with a water vapor pressurized system.
