David is an invaluable colleague and an individual willing to try something new, even in an organization that is hesitant to change. He has both an eye for content and a respect for the talent around him that ensures that his team members are working to their potential. His conceptualization of the role of a communications professional is dynamic, not stuck in the decades-long rut that grips many DC institutions that communications equals public relations.
