Maintenance Manager
Current- Ensures the ongoing safety, efficiency, and availability of amusement rides and devices at the facility.- Ensures that all employees work safely and in compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws, work rules, and best practice guidelines.- Manages the ride repair, ride maintenance, and ride rehabilitation functions within the department.- Provides technical leadership in heavy mechanical maintenance and ride safety.- Creates and maintains the annual ride rehabilitation schedule.- Ensures that all amusement rides are maintained in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.- Maintain inventory of parts and tools to ensure minimal downtime of attractions.- Build and maintain relationships with parts suppliers and ride manufacturers.- Achieve financial metrics through budget management; maintaining cost effective strategies to stay within budget without jeopardizing the highest standards of safety.- Instrumental in the assembly of a maintenance team to oversee the ongoing needs of the attractions.- Manages ride inspection and safety records, ensuring compliance with State and Local regulations and Company Policies.- Reviews departmental policies and procedures on an ongoing basis, making specific recommendations to improve safety, ride availability, and departmental performance.- Communicates department status to Department Head on an ongoing basis, including ride maintenance issues, employee concerns, guest complaints, special requests, losses, and any other unusual occurrences or situations in order to maintain optimal department performance.- Adheres to and enforces all AREA15 policies- Work various shifts to fulfill business needs, which includes responding to ride calls and performing daily preventative maintenance within the schedule along with the team of techs.
