As the lead engineer I had the unique opportunity to work on greenfield projectswhere I was responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing solutions, taking them from proof of concept to production deployment. I served as a men-tor, conducted code reviews, and established office hours for collaborative work.During these sessions, any team member could join me to design, review code, ordiscuss potential solutions for their tasks.• Created PHP SDK that allows Dropbox acquired company to integrate with any internalservice using gRPC and Protobuf.• Using Domain Driven Design and hexagonal architecture, designed and implemented firstasynchronous microservice and reusable library used for digital signatures. The service allowed Sign application to easily scale given every increasing workload.• Established an inclusive and formal engineering review process for major decisions requiring collaboration and formal approval.• Implemented Single Sign On unifying access to Elixir workflow and PHP digital signatureapplications.

As an Application Architect I led development and implemented major components of Mi9 Merchandise Management System, Back Office, and Data Warehouse. I was involved in successful implementations where these systems were replaced at such clients as Barneys of New York and Home Depot. I traveled to California and Mexico where I helped in integration efforts.• Designed, and implemented parts of a complex system responsible for processing Point of Sale (POS) transactions into Merchandising System in real time. The system is currently operating under heavy load as over 120 stores send POS and Back Office transactions in real time.• Designed and implement REST and SOAP versions of web service where, National Retail Federation’s (NRF) compliant POS transactions are sent and then processed in real time by the Merchandising System. Implemented initial prototype and a simulation engine that was used to test the architecture and implementation using multiple processes and varying sizes of transactions.• Defined data model, for storing transactions received from POS system. Increased productivity by using code generation to translate data model into database scripts that conformed to company standards.• Implemented integration RESTful web service that exposes logical data model of Mi9 Merchandise Management System using OData protocol and serves a feed of changes to subscribing clients using XML or JSON formatted events.• Implemented re-usable pivot grid control capable of displaying, using different views, data related to real time POS transaction. Implementation used .NET Framework, C# programming language, and WPF components.• Optimized web service session management in order to minimize data access from .NET. The overall architecture for the Retail Hub is highly scalable as the service proved to be capable of processing over a million transaction lines in 10 hours and is capable of much higher throughput based on the results obtained from simulation.
