The West Australian Football Commission is the caretaker of football throughout the State and is responsible for the overall development of the game.The WAFC's role includes managing Domain Stadium, ownership of the State's two AFL teams - the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Football Club, guiding the West Australian Football League (State league competition), overseeing community football, managing umpiring, and driving participation through game development and the talent pathway.I oversee commercial management across all key business units, including but not limited to:- Commercial Integration with WA's two AFL Clubs- Community and Charity Partnerships- Event management- Marketing, membership and communications- Sponsorship & Broadcast Rights- Stadium Sponsorship & Supply Rights- Stakeholder Licencing & Funding Agreements- WAFC Branding & Licencing Guidelines

At the beginning of 2012 I set myself the objective to see if I had what it took to succeed as a sports administrator in one of the most competitive markets in the World (Sydney). What followed was four fantastic seasons (2012-2015) with the Pride of the League, the mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs. Reporting into me, I had a fantastic team of dedicated sponsorship, sales and event professionals. At the executive level and above, I was fortunate enough to learn from some of the best leaders in Australian business and sport. What is most apparent in reflecting on my time at Souths, is that the success achieved in reaching the heights of the 2014 Premiership (the clubs first in 43 years) was only possible because every member of the organisation had a clear vision, with common goals & objectives, combined with the willingness to contribute extra-ordinary efforts to achieve success. Key achievements my team and I were responsible for include:- Average Commercial Growth of more than 10% p.a. over four consecutive seasons- Implementing the best practice apparel sponsorship program in the NRL by limiting apparel sponsorship to 3 x Commercial Partners which saw longevity of deals, revenue maximization and substantial growth in media tracking results- Capitalizing on growth in Digital landscape which resulted in the Rabbitohs running the highest grossing and most profitable digital sponsorship program in the NRL

Moved across the Nullarbor in March 2010 to fullfil a lifelong dream of working for a professional sporting organisation. Commenced employment knowing nobody, left 2 years later with an abundance of professional relationships that I will value forever. Key responsibilities at the Force included:- Corporate Hospitality & Event Sales- Key Account Management- Partnership Business Development- Event Management- Hospitality Marketing & Communications. Key acheivements include:- Increased corporate hospitality revenue by more than $650k from 2010 to 2011 Super Rugby seasons- Improved corporate hospitality client retention by 40% from seasons 2010 to 2011- Increased corporate hospitality revenue by more than $50k from 2011 to 2012 Super Rugby seasons- Maintained client retention rates of higher than 80% from 2011 to 2012 Super Rugby seasons - Increased sponsorship revenue by more than $400k from 2011 to 2012 Super Rugby seasons

Sales of over $1.5m worth of placements in the Productivity Places Program to both private and public sector, sales of CPD Real Estate training programs, creation of Marketing Related course materials, management of Real Estate Apprentices.
