About Dan Greenberg

I believe all children deserve an engaging, rigorous, and affirming K-12 experience. Race, income, neighborhood, and arbitrary school zone boundaries should not pre-determine a child's destiny. A quality public school education, and the opportunities it affords, have too long been reserved for only the privileged few. I am an advocate for the educators and schools supporting students, empowering families with choice, and working tirelessly every day to right educational injustices in America's most historically under-resourced communities.I studied business and began my career as a management consultant. I discovered a passion for education and dedicated the next ten years to starting and scaling high-performing public charter schools. Now I partner with my teammates at our sector's largest philanthropic investor to support a portfolio of 150+ nonprofit organizations operating 1,400+ public charter schools that educate 600,000+ students.
