Supporting the Office of Economic Adjustment.

eTRANSERVICES replaced OSI at the Office of Economic Adjustment on 1 June 2013; my responsibilities remain unchanged.eTRANSERVICES provides technical support (development and system administration) to the Office of Economic Adjustment within the Department of Defense. OEA operates a sophisticated Domino-based application to support the processing of grant applications under the DoD's Base Realignment and Closure process, whereby localities can seek fiscal support from the US Government to adapt closed military facilities for local use and to alter local facilities for military base realignments.My responsibilities are broad ranging, from simple administration tasks (such as managing user rights) to complicated development / enhancement tasks (adapting existing facilities for changes in Federal law, documented system bugs, and other similar tasks.)The application integrates a set of Domino-backend data databases with a Javascript-driven Web UI, as well as several Java back-end classes to generate cleanly formatted PDFs representation of documents contained in the system.

Orizon provides IT services to the United States Government, in particular the General Services Administration. As the senior technical member of the Orizon team, not only was a responsible for working with clients to develop requirements; assess usability' design, implement, and test solutions; but was overall responsible for the quality of all solutions delivered by the team. The Orizon team also provided all levels of support for the Notes/Domino based solutions in use at GSA to GSA staff. A particular noteworthy achievement that earned a written note of gratitude from the client was an application to automatically respond to requests from vendors for instructions on becoming an authorized vendor on one of the GSA's schedules. By automating this task the client estimates they were able to save tens of thousands of dollars annually.

Discovery Communications is the parent to media outlets Discovery Channel, TLC, and Animal Planet among others. As a member of the Notes Operations and Engineering team in 2007, my responsibilities were to ensure the continued operation of the thirty Domino servers in the United States as well as the smooth operation of the global Domino network. In addition, this team provides Tier 3 support for Domino-related problems within the United States. In 2008, as a Systems Analyst within the Global Systems Administration Team, my responsibilities were to ensure Discovery staff within the United States were able to avail themselves of Discovery's Domino, Windows, and Web-based systems. A particular noteworthy achievement at Discovery Channel was a resolution to a problem experienced by an Executive Vice President within the sales organization. This EVP would sporadically experience a failure of his mailbox, wherein recently “filed” messages (i.e. messages that the EVP had manually sorted into a folder) would revert from the saved folder to the Inbox. By setting up an automated agent to tag messages with the folder that had been sorted in to, and creating a corresponding restoration “button”, the EVP was able to quickly recover from this problem, while awaiting a permanent fix from IBM.

enGenius provides IT services to the United States government, and specifically to the United States Geological Survey in Reston, VA. As a Senior Notes Analyst with the enGenius USGS team, my responsibilities are to respond to "Tier 3" level issues encountered worldwide by USGS personnel.

Bechtel-SAIC (BSC) is responsible for the logistics and operations of the US DOE Yucca Mountain Project (YMP), a planned long-term repository for radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel. Within BSC is a team dedicate exclusive to the Notes/Domino infrastructure and custom Domino applications at YMP. As a member of this team, my responsibilities include: -- Designed, implemented and tested a Java-based appication and LAMP-based proxy server for SSO integration with Lotus Domino and Open Source applications-- Implementation of custom full-text search Java application for Lotus Domino

Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corp. (WPSIC) is a mid-size health insurance carrier, operating in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Michigan. The Open Systems team is responsible for the deployment and operation of application servers and services to the WPSIC community. Within Open Systems, my responsibilities included: -- Technical lead for migration to Lotus Notes-based email (roughly 6,000 users) on SUSE Linux for Enterprise Systesm (SLES) and AIX-- Technical lead for Websphere Everyplace Access, Cincom, and Caribou (C-Pro) deployments on both SLES and Windows

Stratagem provides expert technical staff to client companies in Wisconsin. As an analyst at Stratagem, I was responsible for providing services around Lotus Notes/Domino for a large financial services client, such as: -- Complete rewrite of an Notes application for the tracking of activities of licensed financial representatives (including a revised data model, new web interface, revised Notes interface; update logging, among other changes)-- Integration of existing Notes applications to corporate databases via Java and SOA

IBM is the owner of Lotus Notes and Domino. As the Consulting IT Architect, I was the senior technical resource for the consulting organization in Chicago, and was expected to have both broad and deep knowledge of Domino. Some of my responsibilities included: -- Review of Notes Mail and Notes application (custom applications and Domino add-ons such as Domino.Doc, Sametime, and Quickplace) architecture infrastructure for assorted IBM clients-- Team Leader/Technical Lead on client engagements for the development of customized Notes/Domino applications

Tensor Information Systems provided technical solutions to clients in both the Government and Private sectors. As a technical architect with Tensor, I was involved with the design and development of components for and online patient tracking system for U. S. Government.

Quality Systems Inc. (QSI – now BAE Systems Information Technology) provides expert technical staff to clients in the Federal Government, primarily the Intelligence Community. My projects included -- The design and development of online versions of U. S. Government’s World Factbook, as well as several major internal publications-- The design and development of secure delivery systems for electronic version of major internal publications to mobile U. S. Government executives
