I pride myself on being able to drive the business not only through reliable timely information but also through the strong relationships that I have built within the organisation and strategic alliances external to it. As CFO at Bespoke International Group we have grown the company from zero to close to 1,000 seats in less than 3 years. And this during pandemic and other significant local challenges!This replicates the success I saw as FD at CCI with more that 300% growth both in terms of FTE and revenue. In addition to building the finance department I took over responsibility for a number of areas including Planning, MI and Project Management.In both companies I have chaired the Commercial and Leadership meetings. I also sat on the board of Careerbox (Ltd) which has trained in excess of 10,000 previously disadvantaged youths and placed them in permanent employment within CCI.There have been numerous challenges in such a rapidly growing businesseses. In close collaboration with the CEO and our shareholders we have risen to these challenges. My personal achievements include:• Overseeing the construction and migration to our new 12,500m2 state of the art facility• Creation and management of business information from Budgets, monthly reporting to daily MI• Proactively driving business growth through internal performance and external business development• Securing funding in excess of R100m from multiple sources including Government, charitable organisations and private financial institutions• Operational recovery from a catastrophic fire including successfully lodging of a multi-million Rand insurance claimI am a Chartered Management Accountant. My career started in the City of London 15 years ago. This is where I received my qualification and learnt to deliver results under pressure. After London I broadened both my professional and geographic horizons by joining the UK offshore Trust and Company Management industry.
