Student at Colorado State University, graduating December 2020. Looking for a full-time position starting January 2021, perhaps in the Denver area, though I'm willing to relocate for the right job. I'm a full-stack developer with real-world experience, specializing in React.I love anything CS, though I am especially passionate about all things AI. A lot of people say they knew they wanted to be a developer from a young age, and I'm no different: I wrote my first Hello World when I was 12, and I've been crazy about CS ever since. I have the projects to back it up, too: before I was even in high school, I published my Android game on Google Play, and soon after, my second. Games were especially fun for me to create at this point, but soon I discovered a different kind of game: competitive programming and AI competitions. This is what prompted my interest in algorithms and AI. With my dedication and passion for creation and coding, along with a healthy dose of competitive pride, I worked my way up to the top 25 in both of Two Sigma's Halite AI competitions, which are open not only to students but also to professionals in the field, with thousands of competitors in each group. As a result, I was sponsored by Two Sigma to visit their NYC office. In university, my time was shifted away from competitive programming (though I still made time for the ICPC, HackCU, and other hackathons and contests!). Still, I kept busy with side projects, as you can see on my profile below. I also landed an outstanding internship at TBC, where I was treated more as a full-on developer than an intern, with major roles in important projects, and results I could see immediately. At this internship, I learned so much about being a software engineer and developed amazing skills in React, now my absolute favorite frontend technology. And here I am, still just as excited about CS and excited to see what my future career has in store for me!
