I am an accessibility evangelist, academician, researcher of Digital accessibility and Assistive technologies, first Generation entrepreneur and a person with visual impairment by birth. I am associated with several organizations including academic Institutes, corporate companies and non profit organizations and utilizing those platforms for Evangelizing accessibility for empowerment of persons with disabilities.I am working with: 1. academic coordinator Centre for Disability Studies and Inclusive Education, Savitribai Phule Pune University. 2. Co-founder and Director, Sugamya Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd.(An access consulting company). 3. Director trusty of New vision’s College(A disability minority college) . 4. Director Trusty of “Mamata Andha Anath Kendra” (a NGO working for persons with visual impairment). 5. Adviser, Vision Aid,(an NGO working for persons with vision Impairment). 6. Adviser, Deepsthamba foundation, (NGO working for persons with disabilities). 7. Regional coordinator DAISY Forum of India (Organization working for Print disability). 8. Community ambassador, Book Share India(An organization working for Print disabilities).I have co-Authored 12 research papers in the area of digital accessibility and contributed chapters in two professional books.
