FDA is responsible for advancing public health by helping to speed innovations that make medical products more effective, safer, and more affordable and by helping the public get the accurate, science-based information they need to use medical products and foods to maintain and improve their health. The Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) is a division of the FDA that regulates biological products for human use. CBER's goal is to protect public health by ensuring that these products are safe, effective, and available to those who need them. CBER also provides information to the public about how to use biological products safely and appropriately. My focus is to lead, review, and approve the implementation and continuous evolution of CBER data architecture and data management, governance, and knowledge management architecture. I also assist CBER, the ORO Office Director, and other senior staff in carrying out the diverse responsibilities related to Data Management and analytics to support the science, regulatory review, and compliance mission of CBER.
