Key Performance Areas • Manage, train, and Lead the daily activities of all Manufacturing Subordinates.• Ensure Proper use of Machines, Tooling and Gauges used by Subordinates.• Meet the Production and Gemba Targets as per plan• Ensure Quality of product.• Maintaining Optimum Stock of Critical Tools and Spares to achieve production Target.• Reducing the tool cost per component by Continuous improvements• Reduce the Setting time by process improvements• Taking corrective action to improve quality and production performance.• Maintaining ISO and TQM related documents • Carryout Critical Machine analysis to reduce the bottleneck in the process flow.• Interface with customer service as required in the Quotation Process.• Participate in the Gemba Initiative Leader like 7+1 Initiatives(Quality, CMI,,Inventory ,5s ,OEE,,EEI,G1 and Safety)• Encourages the subordinates to involve in 5S, QC and other improvement activities.• Maintaining 5S in shop floor.• Measure the level of 5S through check sheet and monthly audit.• Implementation of KAIZEN practices in shop floor.• Implementation of POKE – YOKE.• Monitoring over all equipment efficiency (OEE).• Carryout Process capability Study.

Key Performance Areas • Develop process improvements to effectively utilize equipment and materials to maximize production.• Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives . Understand Tact time , Cycle time etc for production target achievement .• Identify unsafe operations and practices and report the same to Manager immediately.• Establish safety procedures and environmental regulations for employees.• Provide engineering support for production and maintenance activities to ensure maximum production.• Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.• Evaluate current production activities and make recommendations for improvements.• Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.• Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications for production activities.• Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.• Stay current with product specifications, engineering technology and production processes.• Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.• Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.• Aid in budget preparation and monitor expenses and profitability.
