Inspection & Maintenance of various Fire Fighting equipment, life safety equipment and keeping record.● Attending and inspecting day to day maintenance of fire hydrant system, breathing apparatus set, Fire extinguisher, Sprinkler system etc.● Attending stand by duties at Maruti Udyog Limited Air field.● Working as SHIFT IN-CHARGE (Fire) and reporting directly to HOD. ● Attending all Fire and Emergency related calls inside & outside of the premises.● Conducting Fire drills and Knowledge sharing program at Fire station daily.● ● Counter checking on the maintenance of open circuit self contained Breathing Apparatus set s by arranging quarterly servicing.● Imparting training to employees & Contract workers of Fire Fighting and Safety related matters.● Reporting of unsafe practices/conditions to departmental heads and higher ups. Ifs necessary, advise for issue of warning to contractors.● Organizing various act ivies for celebration of Fire & Safety week.● Safe inspection rounds of different hazardous work areas.● Impart training to the all departments about Fire Fighting and Safety Measures.● To develop Safety awareness & Safe work Practice & Training programmed on permit to work system, PPE’s Material handling, Construction safety, General safety etc. ● To develop safe practice of Material Handling & Loading Unloading Procedure.● Conduct induction training & tool box meeting at construction site and major shut down activity.● Testing & checking of lifting tools and tackles as per legal requirement.● Inspection and approval to scaffolding excavation procedure.● Various types of audits conducted with other department representative like, Cutting Set, Permit to work system, Welding Machine, EOT crane Audit etc.● Cold & hot work permit, confined space entry permit etc. Do daily safety observation to ensure that safety rule followed by and make reports SAO.
