As Deputy CFO of a PE-backed entity, my responsibilities now encompass:• Overseeing all financial management aspects, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, tax, treasury functions, and provision of commercial support to the business• Collaborating with the senior executive team to develop and execute long-term strategic plans in alignment with the exit strategy.• Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive data-driven decision-making. This includes pricing and profitability analysis and supporting business case development, particularly for large infrastructure projects/developments.• Played a pivotal role in the sale of Virtus Health to PE firm (BGH Capital) leading the financial/tax workstreams and playing a key role in the overall project that included commercial, legal, and operational workstreams in a complex transaction that resulted in creating of significant shareholder value.

Achievements:As Interim CFO presented and led the liquidity pathway out of the COVID-19 induced suspension of elective surgeries, working with internal/external stakeholders that included Board, External advisers, Banking Syndicate and Government agencies, strategically managing liquidity without needing to raise equity in a depressed marketSuccessfully delivered a systems project, developing a business plan and overseeing the implementation and integration of Business Intelligence Platform across the organisation, fully automating the budgeting, planning and forecasting, consolidation and KPI reporting, enhancing efficiency and reliability of monthly management reporting processes aligning to best practice.Led a cost rationalisation program, including specific short-term cost reductions (circa $4-6M in savings within 18 months)>$260m debt refinance executed on significantly improved financial terms resulting in savings of $1m annually; further restructuring of facility was achieved in H1 FY21 post COVID-19 on sustainable commercial and financial terms in a difficult lending market
