After the acquisition of the Consultant Orval by Genimac, I work as a coordinator for the commercial projects Provigo, Maxi, Winners, HomeSense, Marshalls, Dollarama, etc... I make the complete electrical design for the commercial projects and prepare all necessary drawings. I am responsible of Project Scheduling and monitor the progress of the project and the work hours. I prepare the addendums and directives; respond to the request of the information; approve the shop drawings and maintain their accurate logs. I participate in the kickoff meetings and the coordination meetings as well as, I visit the sites for the due diligence, survey, progress supervision and inspection of the work.I design and draft various systems for various high-rise residential buildings, institutions.I assist in the spec analysis and update the design standards based on the code requirements.Review lease documents and other contractual agreements.Tasks I perform regularly:Perform electrical calculations to determine the capacities of the circuits, panels, transformers, building service entry and voltage drops for the wire sizes.Design the emergency systems in the building e.g., fire alarm and emergency lightingPrepare electrical drawings including power layout, lighting plans, single line diagrams, panel schedules, details, notes, and scope of work.Review drawings of other disciplines (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, equipment, controls, security, intrusion prevention systems, fire protection, etc.…) and include necessary connections on the electrical drawings.Prepare the design package for the new hydro servicePrepare the list of materials, and equipment specified on the drawingsWork with Building codes, electrical codes and fire and safety codes.Verify and approve the products.Verify the prices submitted by the contractors.Train new team members.Manage various projects simultaneously.I have an ASP card as well as driving license for a class 5 vehicles (Quebec).
