Driving crude optimization initiatives including: o Identifying optimum crude slate and value offered by crude grades. o To expand refinery processing technical envelope. o To add new crude grades for optimization choices. o Retro Analysis – to identify blue sky potential. o Constraints Analysis – to identify key constraints locking business value. o Competitor Analysis – to identify learning areas.Run existing refineries LP models to optimize operation and recommend operation improvements to maximize net cash margin.Identifying margin improvement opportunities then develop the economic evaluation of these opportunities.Participating in the technical development process from screening through closure, and developing detailed economic models for opportunity economic evaluations. Prioritizing growth proposals against investment criteria and downstream strategy and present briefs to senior management.Interfacing closely with refinery leadership, operations, supply chain, commercial departments to optimize business profitability.Grooming planning team, ensuring smooth and effective co-ordination of planning team with process- schedulers-traders- shipping.
