Footlocker presents Designing with Sole, sponsored by New Balance and supported by PENSOLE Academy, MLab, & FAAS Design Collab. This hands-on master class is a multi-step, global design training program that taught participants the product creation process.Students were selected to partake in a 4-week design essentials program online. The top designers advanced to the ‘learn by doing’ 12-week online masterclass. Students are introduced to a curriculum about the product creation process working with PENSOLE instructors, Foot Locker, and New Balance design mentors. At the end of this 12-week course, students received a certificate of completion.

Allbirds & PENSOLE searched for aspiring designers who want to help reshape how the world perceives sustainability. They launched the Better Responsible Design Program (BRD Program), an 8-week online Masterclass that challenges aspiring product designers to redefine the reputation of sustainable products, especially footwear. This amazing program offered 20 conscious creatives a career-focused online education in sustainable footwear design, working with PENSOLE instructors and Allbirds design mentors, supplemented by MLab.
