Xtone provides a platform for conversational Personal Assistants for enterprise mobile apps. The company’s vision was to enable people to interact with a mobile app using natural language to complete tasks. The Xtone conversation is a chat like experience where users can speak or tap to interact with a dialog engine that prompts users for information; processes input, extracts user intent to complete tasks.Conceived and launched Xtone, attracted co-founders, raised capital, assembled a seasoned management and engineering team to execute on the Xtone vision. As CTO led product and technology while actively engaged in all sales and business development activities to onboard early adopters and investors. Lead inventor on the Xtone patent portfolio – 9 patents awarded.

As a member of the executive team at PriceInteractive, led the the technology and product management function for a new “Platform as a Service” offering, SpeechPort. This core technology, combined with profitable customers and a competent team led to an exit of 119mil (iBasis). Speech Port was the first multi-tenant telephony platform to support the W3C VoiceXML IVR specification and speech recognition. SpeechPort supported millions of phone calls a day from some of the largest fortune 100 companies in North America.PriceInteractive acquired FusionTec (Founder,CTO).
