Hi everyone, I am Dheeraj, currently working as a Data Engineer at Adobe, San Jose. In August 2022, I graduated from the Master of Science - Business Analytics program at the University of Cincinnati, with a concentration in Data ScienceThroughout my professional career, I have been working in the Analytics space, with roles ranging from Data Analyst, Data Engineer to Business Intelligence Engineer. The broad spectrum of clients I worked with, belonged to Retail, E-commerce, Manufacturing, and Healthcare domains. As businesses generate enormous amounts of data, the challenges to processing this data grow exponentially. Being in the middleware integration space, I designed and developed scalable, reusable, and efficient applications on the Microsoft BizTalk and Azure platforms, which served as a single point of contact for communicating with almost all other business applications. SQL was the main data warehouse for storing this information, which brings me to my next major task – analyzing this data and building reports on key performance metrics, as requested by my clients. I majorly used Tableau and Power BI for my work, but also used Looker and AWS QuickSight for a while in a few projects. In some of the projects, I had to undertake the role of a Data Science Engineer, where I majorly used Python for performing statistical analysis, and got the opportunity to lead a team to design hypotheses and conduct A/B tests.Apart from work, a few of my interests are photography, writing travel blogs, playing badminton, and watching science fiction content. I always take up the opportunity to travel as much as I can. I enjoy learning new things, and with an analytical mindset and problem-solving approach, I try to implement them to optimize the productivity of tasks.
