Financial Controller for a rapidly expanding and exciting Solar Energy Company based in Ireland with operations in Ireland and the UK. The business model is based on the identification of suitable sites for the development as Solar Farms using the most up to date Solar Panel technology. My role involves working closely with senior management managing the finance operations for both Ireland and the UK. Other areas of responsibility consist of producing and improving monthly management accounts to senior management and the board.

Senior Financial Accountant for a progressive Software Company providing an innovative software soution that integrates the exiting IT system and new Oneview application into a high performance technology platform. Oneview's software and applications are designed to maximise patient engagement ad improve clinical outcomes. Oneview have offices in the US, Australia, and Dubai all controlled from Ireland financially.

Senior Financial Accountant for Mespil Private Equity reporting to the Directors/Board on a number of projects ranging from Education, Construction, Healthcare. My role involved managing the day to day operations, producing monthly management accounts, reviewing budgets and targets of these projects and reporting on their performance together with other adhoc projects as required.

My role with Crowley Carbon Limited involved reviewing the existing systems, assessing and identifying weaknesses and making recommendations to management on the internal controls. I also developed internal controls and system procedures that facilitated more accurate financial information for decision making. The main focus was to provide management with accurate financial information to facilitate them to make informed decisions on the future of the organisation.

Within this role, I had full responsibility for the Finance Function including monthly forecasting, annual budgeting and variance reports to Management and Board of Directors on a turnover of €6m. I gained significant commercial and operational experience within this role and had sole responsibility for the Finance function within Leo Burnett.

I was involved in a number of property development projects which included dealing with Clients, Banks and Solicitors. Some of the responsibilities included casflow projections, forecasting and making presentations to Banks in relation obtaining finance for client projects. In addition I was involved in preparing and calculating calculations for companies for possible sale.

My role involved the management of 26 Irish/UK companies from Property to Investment companies. This included taking accounts to trial balance and preparing and assisting in the year end audit. In addition I brought all of the companies in the group to the one universal year end. I also dealt with all secretarial matters in relation to the Companies. I was also responsible for the finances of a charity Company called the 3't's.

I was involved in the areas of Auditing, Accounts Preparation and Management Accounts. I was involved in both accounts preparation and auditing of SME to Government contracts with T/O ranging from 1.5m to a max of 14m. I also met with clients and assisted in training in new staff. I also oversaw the expansion of the Company Secretarial department in a supervisory capacity and advised clients on Company Secretarial matters.

I was employed in the Company Secretarial department of KPMG where I was charged with looking after a client base and the clients' secretarial needs.I also worked on team projects dealing with both company and corporate reorganisations.I was also involved in giving a number of in-house presentations on certain aspects of company secretarial practice.

I was employed to manage the Company Secretarial Department and to deal with all the clients Company Secretarial needs. I also began training as an accountant.

I was employed as an assistant accountant to the Financial Controller. My duties included data input, Bank reconciliations, Creditors and Debtors reconciliation and other adhoc duties as required.
