Outlive! is a suicide prevention programme jointly run by the Indian Law Society (ILS), Sangath and Quicksand Studio and is supported by Comic Relief (UK). This project will address urban youth suicide in India by engaging young people aged 18-24, in particular those who may have experienced mental health problems and belong to marginalized communities across low-and middle-income groups in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune.Roles and responsibilities:1. Conduct research and work with youth advisory groups to prepare youth dissemination material for use in a public messaging campaign.2. Conduct research and develop workshop session formats for suicide awareness among young people. 3. Coordinate research ethics board application.4. Design digital and paper-based data collection and analysis systems in support of the research protocol.5. Train youth facilitators to deliver the sessions.6. Supervise the day-to-day research and data collection activities.

Speak Your Mind project is led by Sangath with Mariwala Health Initiative and is funded by Comic Relief. It aims to create an accessible and context-specific advocacy toolkit for mental health to be used by young people and youth leaders. The toolkit will empower young people, especially those with lived experience of mental health issues, with the knowledge and skills required to become mental health advocates in order to raise community awareness and engagement on mental health.Role & Responsibilities:• Develop and author an accessible and context-specific toolkit on Mental Health advocacy in India in collaboration with Mariwala Health Initiative for the Speak Your Mind campaign run by United for Global Mental Health.• Review secondary resources and data sets to prepare insights for the project.• Conduct consultations with young people with lived experience of mental illness to co-create the toolkit framework.

Role: Responsible for designing workshop curriculum, and delivering mental health awareness workshops. Major Achievements: - Formulated 3 modules under the mental health curriculum aimed at community development - Collaborated with Rah Foundation and Million Sparks Foundation to conduct mental health workshops - Led the first Listening Circle to create a safe space for reflection and learning - Proposed solutions to innovate and expand the services of the NGO

Main role: - To assist the intervention and public engagement team of PRIDE project Major Activities: - Assisted the Intervention team by making translations and edits to the manuals and protocols - Designed activities for training of the field counselors - Developed social media content and curated the databases of the public engagement teamMajor achievement: Conceptualized and designed 2 modules on mental health of adolescents addressed to school-going adolescents and their parents, as a supplement to the existing intervention module
