From Deep Reinforcement Learning algorithms and macroeconomic models to teaching entrepreneurship to youths in middle schools, I love it all.I intend to major in Mathematical Economics and Computer Science while learning and exploring as much as I can during my Bachelor's. My love for learning and varied interests have taken me everywhere. During the summer of 2023, I went from using DRL algorithms like PPO on macroeconomic models during research at my University to doing data analysis on Gender-Based Violence Survivors during a consulting internship in Cape Town. These experiences varied and prompted my interests in consulting, research, economics, data science, and civic engagement. I currently pursue many of these passions with my work as I continue my research, teach middle schoolers Entrepreneurship with data and website support, and empower first-year students in their transition to college. Overall, my interests have varied widely allowing me to gain a diverse skill set and experiences. I plan to keep pursuing these interests and am now looking for further experiences that cultivate them and provide more learning/growth opportunities.In summary, my main interests include Economics, Data Science, Consulting, Computer Science, and above all, a love for learning more about all of it and using it to empower others. Outside of my academic and work interests, I also like playing board games, hiking, and listening to podcasts like Planet Money and Econtalk. My majors will determine my career path, but I plan to nurture these interests as well and integrate them during my journey to learn and empower.
