The event is supplemented by two virtual professional development workshops focused on science communication when speaking to a variety of different organizations.

Lead UMD's inagural Quantum Meet Up, connecting 200+ students with quantum technology companies along the east coast. Organize and execute the Quantum Track at the Bitcamp Hackathon. Deliver introductory quantum technology and introductory workshops.

Worked with transmon qubit readout resonators + control theory for predictive electronic temperature control. Co-author on invention disclosure about mitigating Two-Level-System (TLS) errors in the Quantum Deployment Team.

Organizer of the Symposium for Quantum Undergraduate Inquiry and Discovery

Worked with clients to design mechatronic solutions based on their needs. Notably worked with NIST on designing an electromechanical cell (see GitHub for more information about this). Designed solutions with additive (FDM, SLA) and subtractive (CNC, Laser Cutter) manufacturing techniques. 10hrs/week

As design lead, I lead the team that designed and constructed a 6.5ft diameter tailsitter drone that transitioned between vertical and horizontal flight. Used advanced manufacturing techniques --such as flexible 3D printed polymers + carbon fiber reinforced filaments --to manufacture the drone structure. Presented the drone at the Maryland Robotics Symposium and for the Vertical Flight Society Design-Build-Fly competition.10hrs/week

• Analyzed STA and TGA experimental data using Python and Pandas here• Improved window breakage metrics during fire tests using Python to analyze incoming accelerometer data via Serial Interface from an Arduino Uno• Used I2C and SPI protocols to design boards for accelerometer and humidity chips to interface with an Arduino Pro Mini for a custom, low power consumption hygrometer using Autodesk EAGLE • Developed custom PCBs on firefighter helmets to measure firefighter heat exposure during rescues, interfacing with Arduino Yun for wireless communication• Machine, wire, and construct Data Acquisition Racks to be mounted around large-scale fire burn apparatus using National Instruments Hardware• Use LaTex for technical reports, working collaboratively through GitHub and GitBash

•Oversee 25 students within the club and the development of each year's robot•Teach new and current members Computer-Aided Design and machining using operation of 3D Printers and Computer Numerical Controlled Machines•Create and present business plans and presentations to company executives and investors, successfully raising over $13,000 each year to operate the club•Develop each season's technical binder, presenting the binder and robot to competition judges

•Created a comprehensive Introduction to 2D Game Design and Aerospace Curriculum•Taught these courses to middle school-aged students over the course of two months•Created video resources, educational maker kits, and open-source lesson plans for other districts to implement as part of their virtual instruction curriculum
