Growing up, people always called me the 'mediator' and often describe me as an honest, genuine, empathetic, and compassionate person. I am always here for people to help support and motivate them, whether if its giving an helping hand or giving an individual advice. My biggest strength is being able to listen to and understand people. I've always gained satisfaction of seeing people grow and develop from their past issues, along with loving to help individuals figuring out the root problem to their emotions or situation and to see their personal growth in any aspect. Aside from being the mediator to my family, I've gained experienced working as a resident advisor at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I've met so many people that i've mentored, helped, and settle personal conflicts with. Due to loving to understand people on a deeper level, I went and gained a Bachelors Degree in Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I am currently gaining my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the same university forproper training and a deeper understanding of individuals. A saying that I love telling people is: "Do not let your past define you because everyone has a story, and it's up to you to define your future." I tell people that as a tag of motivation and courage to continue on with life.
