I began my career in 1982 as a Commodity Research Analyst at Shearson Lehman Brothers. I next served as the Futures Trading Strategist for Advest, Inc. before joining M&T Bank as an Executive Associate. After trading Foreign Futures Options for a Commodities Fund, I became a Foreign Exchange Strategist for Chase Manhattan Bank. I subsequently joined Prudential Securities (later, Wachovia Securities LLC) as a Financial Advisor, rising to Sales Manager of the flagship branch on Park Avenue in New York City. In 2005, I relocated my business to Morgan Stanley and in 2013, I moved to Janney Montgomery Scott.I have earned a BA in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College, and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. I have been appointed Adjunct Assistant Professor of Financial Management at the NYU School of Continuing & Professional Studies, where I have lectured on Applied Technical Analysis since 1999. In 2014, I successfully completed the Certification for the Long-Term Care Program (CLTC) as well as Accredited Wealth Management AdvisorSM (AWMA®) Certification.
