Current• Managed and led a team of eight FEMA Corps members through ten months of disaster related service projects• Served as a liaison between the multiple federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS)• Managed a budget for the FEMA Corps team and maintained accurate financial records• Prepared and submitted qualitative and quantitative reports highlighting team accomplishments and activitiesFEMA Corps Deployment in Partnership with the Los Angeles County Office Emergency Management and the White House Center for Faith-based and Community Partnerships in Los Angeles, California:• Spearheaded the Los Angeles County Pledge to Prepare, a disaster preparedness initiative in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Office of Emergency Management and White House Center for Faith-based and Community Partnerships• Worked as project manager for event which culminated in a weekend of disaster preparedness activities involving the participation of more than 130 Houses of Worship and Community Organizations • Served as a liaison between non-profits, local and county government agencies, houses of worship, and FEMAFEMA Corps Deployment to FEMA Region X Office in Lynnwood, Washington:• Supervised the development of FEMA Region X Threat Analysis Reports• Participated in the National Tribal Emergency Management Conference as a FEMA representativeFEMA Corps Deployment at FEMA National Headquarters in Washington DC: • Led team in the development of a new Air Operations Branch at the National FEMA Headquarters• Supervised projects to inventory air assets in the United States, create Standard Operations Procedures for executive travel, and develop position descriptions for newly developed roles within FEMA• Registered disaster survivors for FEMA Individual Assistance at the National Information Processing Center
