Thank you for allowing me to share a little more about myself.For the past two decades, my career began while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Business Administration from Adelphi University. I majored in Business Management and minored in Finance. My undergraduate studies were the steppingstone to my high-flying professional life that commences as a bank teller at Oceanside, New York. I have then worked in the retail banking and finance industry since 1998. The opportunities to propel my career in the banking sector have made me adept in the vital skills within the finance sector, such as comprehending the lending requirements, asset protection, and budgeting. Likewise, I have an in-depth understanding of reinvesting, retirement planning, analyzing financial documents, budget planning, and human resource management. I have experienced immense growth throughout my professional life, which resulted in recognizing my excellent performance in each task entrusted in my hands. I have been able to earn top recognition while participating in extensive training. Aside from my professional achievement, I am a Paul Harris Fellow Recognition recipient throughRotary International. I am also a past board member affiliate and business member at several clubs such as the Lions Club of Plainview NY, The Safe Center of Long Island and VP for the Rotary Club in West Hempstead. I believe that my willingness to learn while putting my best foot forward has placed me in influential positions and earned me the responsibilities I have held throughout my professional life.My banking career has afforded me numerous opportunities that have allowed me to grow and evolve as a woman professional. I have successfully excelled within the highly competitive environment while demonstrating exemplary leadership skills among my colleagues and subordinates. My years within the banking industry have also allowed me to progress through different roles as I climbed the corporate ladder. I took a break in my profession while at the peak of my career to focus on other family responsibilities. I heeded the call of motherhood yet intending to resume my professional life later. While re-entering the workforce can be challenging, my strong vision of moving forward in the best direction will provide me the foundation needed to achieve career success.
