About Diana Blanco

Experienced project manager and digital humanist specializing in cultural, entertainment, and educational initiatives. Before starting her MA at UCLA, Diana worked as an Exhibitions and Curatorial Project Manager in South Florida where she managed 68 on-time, on-budget exhibitions and was the Project Lead and Designer for the NSU Art Museum's Collection Digitization Initiative. She has also been a fellow at the Smithsonian's Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage in 2021 and 2011. As the Co-Founder and VP of Finance and Community Events at the Andean Student Alliance, Diana actively supports and advocates for students from the Andean region by organizing events and securing grants to promote Andean cultural and educational opportunities.Her diverse educational background includes a BA in Arts Administration, a BS in Marketing from Nova Southeastern University, and extensive coursework in Graphic and Fine Arts. Currently an MA candidate in Latin American Studies with a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities, Diana is set to graduate in July 2024.In her spare time, Diana enjoys watching Latin American films, traveling, board games, dancing, and hiking with her family.
