Developed and launched the Healthy Eating & Nutrition program, using an innovative and engaging curriculum,designed to help transform the eating, food purchasing, and food preparation habits of formerly homeless individuals & families in transitional and permanent supportive housing programs in Baltimore.

Singing for the Brain! An innovative start-up, Memory Lane musical programs are especially beneficial for elderly, memory-impaired audiences. Every Memory Lane performance creates a lively, interactive musical experience and engages memory-impaired audiences to build on the brain's preserved memory for song and music.

Developed and implemented a social marketing campaign to educate and motivate citizens to plant trees in their yards to expand tree canopy in the Baltimore region for environmental benefits. Launched in 2006, the Growing Home Campaign is a national award-winning, public-private partnership between Baltimore County, the City of Baltimore, Harford County, 50 local retail nurseries and garden centers, and homeowners to increase tree planting on residential property.AWARDSBaltimore County was awarded the National Association of Counties 2008 Achievement Award for the Growing Home Campaign “in recognition of an effective and innovative program which contributes and enhances county government in the United States.”Diana Cohen was awarded a Baltimore County Executive Citation in 2011 in recognition of “your outstanding and enthusiastic leadership in Baltimore County's Growing Home Campaign”.

Led a non-profit group with membership of about 1,000 and a team of 20 board members. Increased membership and funding to advocate for legislation supporting library services and to expand library programming including the establishment of the Friends of the Library Bookstore.and the Worcester Public Library Film and Music series. AWARDSDiana Cohen was awarded the key to the City of Worcester, Massachusetts in 2004 in recognition of her work on behalf of the Worcester Public Library.

Key staff member. Landscape Architecture projects included large high-end residential and commercial jobs. Recruited initially to serve as Project Manager for extensive landscaping at a 1,000 acre corporate retreat located in Pennsylvania.
