Profile bio

About Diana Diwa

I’ve always been interested in understanding human behavior. That’s why I was drawn to studying psychology and working in the mental health field. I’ve spent five years working in mental health and am grateful to have helped people through difficult situations. However, I yearned to be able to help others in a way that drew out both my creativity and problem solving skills. This is why UX design caught my attention. My experience as a counselor has helped me develop skills in empathetic listening and in understanding problems, which I look forward to using as a UX Designer. Once I truly understand the problem at hand, finding solutions becomes easy for me. Albert Einstein had the right idea when saying, “If I had an hour to solve a problem I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.” I’ve spent the last several months sharpening my skills in a UI/UX Design Bootcamp and am excited to create memorable and intuitive user centered designs. I will take what I learned working in mental health into my next venture with user experience design fueled by my passion to empower people to achieve their goals. If you’re interested in getting coffee or have a project I can help with, please feel free to message me!

Listed skills include Nvivo, Spss, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and 1 others.
