Curious, interdisciplinary changemaker passionate about creating solutions that make the world a more fair and equitable place.I’ve always been driven to help others. As a young adult, I would scour the local community boards and websites to find any volunteering opportunities that I could pursue in my free time. In high school, after joining my school’s Amnesty International club, I realized that this passion and my related volunteer work were driven by the belief that everyone deserved a fair opportunity to discover happiness, and I’ve been devoting much of my work since then to translate that belief into a reality.I’m also deeply driven by my curiosity and love of learning. These traits have led me to pursue a wide variety of opportunities and learn a diverse set of skills - ranging from policy research to software development to product marketing. I’m constantly looking for ways I can extend my knowledge and experiences, and this aspect enables me to adapt and thrive in a variety of roles and situations. Currently work at Coursera, where I lead our Learner Success pod of 13+ cross-functional team members in ensuring our learning experience is intuitive and engaging at a holistic level. In this role, I've been excited to develop and launch over 20 experiments in less than 10 months that have led to a stat-sig impact on our learner engagement and retention metrics. While I'm happy with my role at Coursera, I'm open to exploring other opportunities where I can use my expertise to make people's lives happier and more fulfilling. Highlights:- Led strategy and execution for dozens of projects across Google Search and Maps, Android, and Google Family Link- Product lead for Oppia.org's online learning web platform- Established first marketing, outreach, and partnerships teams for the Oppia Foundation- Multiple entrepreneurship grant and funding awardee, Certified National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenge Scholar, Student panelist for 2019 Reagan Institute Summit on Education Although I’m satisfied with my current role, due to my love of learning, I’m also open to pursuing other opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration and problem solving.Don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re also interested in creating a better world through technology! Expertise:- Strategy creation- Cross-functional leadership- Written and oral communication- Software engineering (web and mobile app development)
